Reunion-Yea!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, a little belated. I think i messaged with nearly everyone, alas, it is such a challenge to get on the phone with all of the guests, the baxters and the three legged dogs!!! that's right, suz has her very own new schnauzer pup, but little ella came out, the umbilical cord had cut off one of her little feet, so now we have the cutest 3 legged schnauzer running around. my dad is beside himself. when suz told him "she's my dog, dad, i'll take her out to pee," his reponsee was "she's my dog too! i mean, it's my house, i'll take her out."

so all is well except for the damn paper i need to email in by tomorrow. i'm a little over half way there though, but work is not really on the agenda today. it'll get done somewhow i hope. i'm starting to hit the finals wall and realize that i have not had a life for the past 3 weeks or so. i can't wait for break. here i come chicagoa!!!

and as for reunion, i would love to be in the bay area. can we throw a trip to san francisco into the mix. i will need to see dave td if i'm out there, and maybe matt pollizotto, even if he is getting married.

alright, i must go. i'm on my parents old, slow computer, and it's driving me crazy. tlak to you all sonn.

love julie

back to life

can't mourn forever, eh?

in my ongoing attempts to be hopeful about the future, i've decided it's nice that W will have to clean up his own mess. and maybe by 2008 people will realise how bad his policies are. i won't hold my breath.

england has been dry but cold so far this month. i head home four weeks from tomorrow. very excited. hopefully i'll have a new chapter written by then. that would make me feel good about myself.

not really that much interesting stuff to say. the house of commons here passed a gay marriage bill last night. that's exciting. i bought a book on the 6 wives of henry viii. also exciting (at least for me).

and now i actually have to go do some work. i miss you all terribly.

mwah!

mourning interupted

it's hard to mourn when a mac house reunion is in progress. greg is in town now, so it's mini-reunion. perhaps there will be some drunk dials going out tomorrow night. watch out!
